Work Description:
This file contains the second part of correspondence between artist/sculptor Claire Falkenstein and Clyfford and Patricia Still. The materials cover the period from 1973 to 1997. The artists continued to exchange brief greetings and mutual respect. Falkenstein regularly sent the Stills Christmas cards and they sent one another invitations to their respective exhibitions. Notable topics include that in 1978 Still served as a reference for Falkenstein's application for the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship and the death of Clyfford Still in 1980. Falkenstein continued to write until her death in 1997.
