Work Description:
In this color slide, Patricia Still poses before the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. Following Still's 1959 retrospective, the museum commissioned a new wing to expand its gallery space. The Knox Addition opened in 1962, and the institution also changed its name to reflect the influential contributions of Seymour H. Knox, a noted art collector and philanthropist. In 1964, Still made a landmark gift of 31 paintings to the museum.
