Work Description:
One of Still's three remaining sculptures, this construction is formed by four pieces of wood, wire (possibly a coat hanger), and a plastic disc. A flat piece of wood is used for the base, which is topped by two long, flat pieces of wood standing upright. A semi-circle is cut out of the shorter piece, which backs a taller, rectangular piece. The smallest wood piece is adhered to the top of the tall piece, on which the plastic disc is mounted at the sculpture's apex. The wire emerges out of the upper section of the tall wooden piece and runs down vertically on both sides of the work, zig-zags out to form finger-like forms near the bottom before it is joined to the wooden base.
