Work Description:
The viewer's attention is initially drawn to the large black form consuming the majority of the interior of the canvas. On the left of the composition is a vertical purple form accented with a thinner vertical blue form running along the lower left edge. Splashes of white and areas of exposed bare canvas run along the right edge. A craggy, thin vertical orange form runs from top to bottom edge through the bare canvas, borders the right edge of the black expanse, and mingles with the white passages. Along the right edge of the canvas is a vertical yellow form. Two thin vertical crimson life lines split the bare canvas at right between the orange and yellow areas.
