Work Description: 
This color slide documents Clyfford Still's 1975 gift of twenty-eight paintings to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in California. The paintings lean against the walls of the unfinished T.B. Walker Gallery, which the museum designated as a permanent space to house the artworks. A portion of PH-261 (1962, cropped) extends from the left edge of the frame, followed by PH-245 (1956), PH-920 (1974), PH-243 (1950-51), PH-135 (1945, cropped), and PH-371 (1947, cropped). In 1976, the museum presented the paintings in the exhibition "Clyfford Still", on view January 8 through April 20.
