This file contains correspondence related to the Museum Ludwig in Cologne. The first set of letters from 1986 are a request from the museum to display PH-424 in an exhibition of European and American art since 1940, which is denied, and a request to reproduce an image of PH-602 in their catalog, "Twentieth Century Art: Painting and Sculpture in the Ludwig Museum." It is unclear if permission is granted, however, a copy of the book can be found in Clyfford Still's Personal Library. Information related to the exhibition and the Museum Ludwig's new building are included. The second set of letters is request for permission to reproduce an image of a Clyfford Still work in their collection, PH-602, in an upcoming publication "Twentieth Century Art." Permission is granted and a copy is stated to be sent to Patricia Still.
