This file contains correspondence between Samuel Kootz and Clyfford Still as well as a letter sent in 1949 to Eldridge Spencer of the San Francisco Art Association. The 1949 letter was sent in an attempt to sell-off a large amount of works in the Kootz Gallery's holdings. The letters between Kootz and Still discuss Georges Mathieu's work and an attempt by Kootz to see Still's work in 1957. The file also includes an invitation to the Kootz Review of 1952.
