Work Description:
Black and white negative of a view of the Triuna Islands North Bridge on Lake George. This image shows one of the covered bridges, located on Triuna Islands' North Island, that connects the three small islands sitting in Lake George. The North Bridge is made up of a Gothic-inspired arch and belfry connected to a covered wooden walkway with arched windows and columns. Triuna, or Three Brothers Islands, was the location of the Trask family's summer home, and functioned as an extension of the Yaddo artist's colony, where Clyfford Still spent the summers of 1934 and 1935.
