Work Description:
|
This file contains correspondence between William S. Lieberman and Patricia Still. It includes letters from 1980 of Lieberman discussing his dislike for Kramer and Greenberg's articles in the New York Times, the importance of the Still retrospective, and an offer to send the installation photographs to Patricia Still for the archives, which she accepts. There is also a 1992 letter from Patricia Still about how a Metropolitan Museum visitor thought that PH-348 was hung upside down based on the Met catalog, a 1993 letter about the slides of Still's pastels, and 1998 letters about Still not allowing Joseph Andorfer to reproduce any of Still's works.
