This file contains correspondence between Ann Gibson and Patricia Still and a manuscript for an article by Gibson about color field painting from Rothko, Newman, and Still for Arts Magazine. It opens with Gibson requesting transparencies for reproduction of four Still paintings for her article, Oil on Burlap 1936, 1945-K, 1948-B, November 1950 from the Albright Knox. Gibson provide additional context on the article as it is about color field art. Patricia Still refuses to give permission as she feels that Still does not work in color field and this article is inaccurate to Still's work.
