Work Description:
|
This file contains correspondence between Jac Wasserman and Clyfford Still including plans for a series of reproductions by Contemporary American Artists and Wasserman is hoping to include Still's work in the project. Still is interested, but needs additional information and worries on the practicality of reproduction. They make plans to meet in person for Wasserman to see the works in person. Ultimately due to the 1959 exhibition at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and the sale of a work to Europe prevents Still from participating in Wasserman's project.
