Materials in this file include correspondence from Thomas and Susan Godfrey with Clyfford and Patricia Still largely focusing on the various exhibitions of Clyfford Still in the 1970s and later including San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Basel show, and Madrid show. The correspondence also includes friendly Christmas cards, updates from Tom Godfrey on the happenings in Rockland, Maine and the Farnsworth Museum of Art, of which Godfrey served on the board. Godfrey also checks in regularly on updates on the Clyfford Still Museum and seeks to display an exhibition of Clyfford Still in the Farnsworth Museum, which Patricia Still declines to display. Correspondence also includes kind words to Patricia Still upon Clyfford's death, updates on Susan Godfrey's health and death, and Tom's remarrying the Anne Clark in 1999.
