This black and white photograph features an installation view at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. From left to right, Clyfford Still’s PH-929 (1974), Jackson Pollock’s “Autumn Rhythm (Number 30)” (1950), and Franz Kline’s “Black, White, and Gray” (1959) line the gallery's walls. On loan from June 1978 through the conclusion of Still’s retrospective in February 1980, the museum exhibited PH-929 with its permanent collection of modern and contemporary artworks.
