Work Description: 
This black and white photograph features an installation view at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in California. PH-225 (1956), which was on loan to the museum from 1961-63, appears on the left. PH-246 (1951-52) dominates the gallery wall to the right. John Stephan, who purchased PH-246 directly from the artist, loaned the painting to LACMA prior to gifting it to the Art Institute of Chicago in 1962.
