Work Description: 
This black and white photograph depicts an installation view of the exhibition “Paintings by Clyfford Still” at the Albright Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. PH-91 (1948) hangs in the gallery. On view November 5 through December 13, 1959, the retrospective featured seventy-two artworks curated by Still himself. In 1964, the artist made a landmark gift of 31 paintings to the museum.
