The images in this file come from 35mm slide photography of the Still family's visit to Clyfford Still's birthplace in Grandin, North Dakota. After attending the commencement ceremony for Clyfford Still's honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree at North Dakota State University on May 27, Patricia, Sandra, and Clyfford traveled to Grandin the next day. In Grandin, they photographed Clyfford's old home, a church, and industrial landscapes in the city. Sandra photographed the town on black-and-white negative film, and Patricia photographed the event on color slide film. This file consists of slides that were developed in June 1972, as determined from processing imprints on the slide frames: JUN72W5 (Ektachrome)
