Work Description: 
This black and white photograph depicts the construction of the Grand Coulee Dam in Grand Coulee, Washington. The dam's construction began in 1933 and concluded in 1942. Scaffolding extends vertically in the foreground and background of the image. Toward the bottom of the photograph, several workers appear among various building materials and structural components. At the top of the sloped bank, a small crane is situated near a portion of the dam.
