Work Description:
This black and white photograph depicts the Triuna Islands North Bridge in Warren County, New York. Situated on Lake George, the Trasks acquired the Three Brothers Islands and renamed them "Triuna" in 1907. Two covered bridges connected the three small islands. The North Bridge features a Gothic-inspired tower and arched windows. Triuna, the location of the Trask family's summer home, functioned as an extension of the Yaddo artist's colony, where Clyfford Still spent the summers of 1934 and 1935.
