Work Description: 
This black and white photograph depicts the construction offices at the Grand Coulee Dam construction site in Grand Coulee, Washington. The construction of the dam began in 1933 and concluded in 1942. Photographed from the opposite side of the Columbia River, this image features the various sheds and shanties that were built toward the bottom of a steep hill, near the base of the river, which appears in the foreground.
