Work Description:
This black and white photograph depicts the aftermath of a blizzard that occurred in Westminster, Maryland in 1966. In the left foreground, an unidentified figure wearing a black coat and a dark aviator cap watches the tractor that plows snow along the road near Clyfford Still's farm. Another unidentified figure stands in the deep snow to the right of the tractor. The sun shines through the branches of one of the trees that occupy the farm's fenced backyard. Snow covers the fields in the distance.
