Work Description:
|
This black and white photograph depicts the austere front entrance of Clyfford Still's home at 312 Church Street in New Windsor, Maryland. Three sets of white columns support the central awning, which extends upward to the second floor. A wraparound porch envelops the front and the sides of the brick structure. Stained glass windows frame the door, while a small balcony overlooks the entranceway below. Bushes line the narrow strips of grass between the house and the sidewalk.
