In this black and white photograph, two workers assess the damage from a train wreck that occurred near New Windsor, Maryland in February of 1969. In the foreground, one man smiles for the camera while the other looks to the left. The wrecked train cars lean against the bank in the background. One of the bent rails extends off of the frame to the right.
