In this black and white portrait, Betty Freeman, Clyfford Still, Patricia Still, and James Elliot appear in a gallery at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where Still exhibited several paintings in the early 1960s. Still travelled to Los Angeles to assist LACMA's curator, James Elliot, with the installation of the works. Elliot, who looks toward the camera, occupies the foreground, while the Stills stand behind him. Freeman leans against the wall to the Stills' right.
