In this black and white photograph, Clyfford Still stands at the podium at the 1967 Maryland Institute College of Art commencement ceremony. He shakes hands with one of the speakers as his fellow honorary degree recipients applaud from the seats against the wall of the Mount Royal Station. The college converted the former train station into art studio spaces in 1967. In the foreground, the back of a man's head partially obscures the view of the stage.
