Still looks downward at the camera and grips the staircase's wooden railing in his right hand. The artist wears glasses, black slacks, and a black sweater over a light-colored shirt. His shadow casts upon the wall to his right. Hans Namuth photographed Still in his studio on November 24, 1951.
