In this black and white portrait, Clyfford Still stands before two decorative wooden columns in the foyer of his home at 312 Church Street in New Windsor, Maryland. Photographed from below, Still faces his right and turns his head to look down at the camera. He wears a painter's smock over a white shirt and plaid tie. Still grips the lapel of his smock with his left hand. A light source from the left illuminates the right side of Still's face. PH-369 (1951) hangs on the wall in the background.
