In this black and white portrait of Clyfford Still, the artist selects materials from a supply table located in his studio in Westminster, Maryland. An array of spatulas, rags, foil, and containers litter the surface of the table. Large metal cans of paint occupy the space beneath the table. The massive canvas of PH-892 (1973) leans against the wall in the background. A ladder appears between the canvas and the artist's table. Still sports a beard and wears a short-sleeved dark blue shirt with khaki slacks.
