In this black and white portrait of Clyfford Still, the artist appears in three-quarter view in a parking lot at the former Mount Royal Station, which was acquired as an art studio space by the Maryland Institute College of Art in 1964. He wears a white fedora, glasses, and a suit with a plaid tie. The railroad station's Romanesque structure, as well as several parked cars, occupy the background. Still accepted an honorary degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in June 1967.
