In this color portrait, Clyfford and Patricia Still pose before a river in Central Park in New York City. Standing to the right of a large, textured rock, Still faces right but turns his head to smile at the camera. He wears glasses, a gray fedora, a burnt orange scarf, and a brown trench coat over a black suit. He also sports a mustache. Mrs. Still wears glasses, gloves, and a long blue coat. A purse hangs from her left arm. On the right, four figures sit upon a row of benches at the side of the river. Dense vegetation covers the opposing riverbank. A tree's branches drape across the entirety of the frame. Tall buildings appear in the left background of the photograph.
