Work Description:
|
This black and white photograph depicts the landscape surrounding the Columbia River in Washington. The river emerges from the right background, curves around the land and the opposing banks, and extends beyond the right foreground of the image. Photographed from atop a hill, the banks slope downward to meet the base of the river. Tilled fields appear on the opposite side of the water.
