Work Description:
This black and white photograph depicts the landscape and features surrounding a Canadian railway. Photographed from the left side of the train tracks, a black-and-white striped pole projects vertically out of the frame on the right. Rocks cascade downward from the nearby bank. An abandoned train car appears beyond a series of electrical poles. On the opposite side of the train tracks, an elevated cylindrical water tower emerges behind a small shed. Sparse trees line the hills in the background of the image.
