This color photograph depicts an installation view with selections from the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The gallery features works by artists who associated with the Abstract Expressionist movement. Franz Kline's "Painting Number 2" (1954) hangs on the wall on the far left, followed by Barnett Newman's "Vir Heroicus Sublimis" (1950-51), and Clyfford Still's PH-814 (1951) in the right foreground. A bench is positioned before Newman's painting.
