Work Description: 
In this black and white portrait, a group of male artists poses in a baseball field at the Yaddo artist's colony in Saratoga Springs, New York. Clyfford Still stands at the far left, wearing a long coat and crossing his arms over his chest. According to a caption accompanying a reproduction of the photograph published in a 1979 exhibition catalog by the Metropolitan Museum of Art , the following men appear from left to right: Clyfford Still, James T. Farrell, Eugene Joffe, Walter Quirt, Henry Bainford Parkes, Leonard Ehrlich, Louis Hechenbleikner, George Novack, Joseph De Martini, Maurice Becker, Jean Liberte, and William McNulty.
