Work Description: 
This black and white photograph depicts an exterior view of Clyfford Still's former studio at the California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California. The artist taught at CSFA (now the San Francisco Art Institute) from 1946-1950. Situated within the lower corner of the Spanish-style structure, the studio's ground-level windows overlook the sloped street. The institution's iconic bell tower extends beyond the photograph's frame in the upper left.
