Photographed and developed by Sandra Still, this black and white contact sheet features two images of Clyfford Still posing before the barn that functioned as his studio in Westminster, Maryland. The artist wears a long dark coat over a white shirt and black tie. He holds a pair of glasses in his right hand and tucks the thumb of his left hand into the pocket of his coat. In the upper photograph, Still faces forward and turns his head to look to his left. In the lower photograph, Still angles himself to his left while looking downward, situating him in profile. In both portraits, the sun illuminates Still's left side.
