Work Description:
|
This color slide features an installation view at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. In the background, PH-102 (1948) and PH-38 (1955) are on display within an adjacent gallery from left to right. PH-250 (1949) hangs to the right of a doorway in the foreground. PH-19 (1950) occupies the wall behind Henry Moore's sculpture "Internal and External Forms" (1953-1954), which appears on the far right. In May 1964, Still gifted 31 artworks to accompany the two paintings previously purchased by the museum. Spanning the years 1937 to 1963, the ensemble of paintings chronicles the most critical developments of the artist’s career.
