Work Description:
|
A swirling passage of yellow, chartreuse, and white rises upward from the bottom left corner into the black background beyond. Four strange mechanically-inspired forms float amidst the scene; a black pulley-like object with two circular voids floats at the top left, two larger and one smaller wrench-like forms rest side by side near the right center of the composition. The wrench form on the left is painted with a thick black pigment and has a streak of yellow highlighting its left side. The second larger form is painted a deep crimson, and the smallest, barely-legible wrench like form on the far right is made of streaks of white and deep blue-black. All three of these forms have faint halos encircling their crowns.
