Work Description:
A prominent, thick black line shoots out and upward from the bottom left side of the canvas, cutting through the white of the corner. A dark greenish form seems to be seeping and spreading across the entire canvas, mixing with black and garnet sections of color. Thin accents of white, red and yellow appear in the top portion of the work, curving in various ways. Throughout the canvas, the black acts as an interrupter of solid color, causing a split in what would have been a solid patch of color. The fluidity of the forms exudes a flame-like quality, adding a drama to the work.
