Work Description:
|
Black, white, ochre, yellow, maroon, and shots of cobalt blue all dominate this quasi-abstract work. An unidentifiable mass of roughly painted shapes and forms are loosely pieced together in a pyramidal shape topped with a large yellow orb a a sharp beak-like form at the top left corner of the work. Areas around the figure are left unpainted, including the left edge, top right corner and bottom left corner. Four vertical objects are painted side by side at the top right corner in front of the bare canvas ground.
