Work Description:
|
Irregular, quasi-figurative forms fill this early abstract composition. A rich black pigment dominates three-fourths of the canvas leaving only the top right corner, which is painted in a light brown. Strange, surrealistic shapes rendered in gray, green, mauve, blue, and white squirm across the composition throughout the black and brown. A thick yellow life-life runs from top to bottom just right of center.
