Work Description:
|
Four vertical fields of color span the width of this composition. A thin dark brown form sits along the left edge, a rich ocher form is situated to its right, a thicker black area follows the ocher, and lastly another thin dark brown form sits along the right edge. They are separated in some places by bare canvas, but are also interlocked across the center of the work. Several smaller, more colorful passages are interspersed across the upper center. A small fluttery yellow and orange form is located above the dark brown form at the left edge, a crimson red form hovers above the black column, and a bright cobalt blue form rests atop the dark brown form on the right edge.
