Work Description:
|
Thick layers of crimson paint fill this large, vertically oriented canvas. An irregularly-shaped, bright cadmium-orange form floats in upper right quadrant of the composition, pierced at center by a black shape with blue accents. A second, much smaller orange shape hovers near the larger form's bottom left corner, as if it has separated from the large form and slides down and off to the left. Two brown forms, each with a splash of yellow along its edge, emerges from the upper left edge and bottom right corner. A barely visible gray mass peeks in from the center right edge, while several flashes of white flicker across the crimson field's encrusted surface.
