Thick black paint covers the lower three quarters of this composition. Bright red paint fills the upper quarter, separated from the black field below by a jagged maroon band of paint. A ghostly blue form floats in the center of the painting amidst the black, and two horizontal impasto blue lines sit below the blue form along the bottom edge.
