Work Description:
|
A dramatic gray-blue form extends from the canvas' top edge down through the center of the painting. A smaller black form in the lower left quadrant reaches from the left edge of the work towards the gray-blue form at center. A tiny yellow form hovers in the space between the gray-blue and black forms. A second very small yellow dab of paint is located on the viewer's lower right side of the canvas. A small purple form reaches up from the bottom edge of the canvas, right of center. Unpainted canvas surrounds all the larger forms, creating a barrier between the forms and a large flat field of off-white paint which fills the upper left and right portions of the composition.
