Work Description:
|
A black jagged form rises from the bottom center up towards the center of this vertical composition. A dark purple form sits above the black form, almost as if it has broken off the form below as it rises further up the canvas. At the top center of the work, a blue flicker sits just above the purple form. A creamy white pigment surrounds these central shapes. A fiery, brown, red, and yellow mass fills the canvas on either side of the central motif, leaving only the top left corner and some of the top center around the blue form unpainted.
