Work Description:
|
Contrasting vertical forms snake through the canvas in this abstract work. On the left side of the canvas, a thin white vertical line surrounded by a black form emerges from the bottom of the work. The black form extends towards the center of the canvas, but is interrupted by a zig-zagging yellow lifeline. The yellow features white and red flashes, and is outlined by a blue form. The right side of the canvas is mainly blue, with the black form swooping downwards and upwards to separate the solidity of color. An organic blue, white, and black form weaves thin vertical lines together in the center portion of the canvas. A black circular form in the upper right part of the work is accented with an orange splash of paint.
