Work Description:
|
A train is shown approaching a town along the right edge of the work. Three grain elevators rise along the tracks and the right edge of the paper. A vertical smoke-stream rises from the train and trails off the top composition's edge. A yellow field and brown path are shown in the foreground, to the left of the train tracks. The entire scene is rendered in loose, impressionistic strokes on a faded brown construction paper.
