Work Description:
|
This work reflects Still's belief that void could be as expressive as densely painted areas. The perimeter of the painting has been outlined by black pigment, interrupted by unpainted canvas and an area of white pigment in the bottom right corner. A large irregular white form fills the center of the work. Two flashes of yellow, one darker and larger than the other, hover in the bottom right corner surrounded by bare canvas.
