Work Description:
|
In this work, a downtrodden female figure sits amidst a rocky, brown landscape. She leans against a yellow structure or farm machinery and rests her proper right ear on her proper right shoulder, which juts vertically up from her oversized hand at the bottom left of the work. She rests her proper left hand on a rock in the center of the canvas. Her legs rest on rocks at different levels so that they appear to be stacked on top of each other, thus emphasizing the flat picture plane of the canvas.
