Work Description:
|
This canvas is composed of two distinct vertical halves. On the left, geometric black mechanical elements are set against a stark white field. On the right, a nude, abstracted male figure surrounded by deep maroon is shown kneeling and facing the viewer. He is modeled with vivid gold strokes and outlined with stylized black lines. His proper right arm reaches across the central compositional divide and holds on to a lengthy cylindrical part of the black machinery.
